20 paid subscribers! Amazing! Thank you all so much! It’s really exciting to write a quiz each week for this growing nerd community. And in an effort to improve the quiz as we go along, I included notes and links for a bunch of the answers this week that I think are interesting. Today is Father’s Day, so our quiz is all “dad” themed.
Not sure what we’re gonna do with today at our place. Maybe nothing? Yesterday, I hit the march for awhile. Wow! Seeing 100k people in the streets who hate this bullshit as much as I do is inspiring. (Somebody once asked me, “Do you ever worry that being so anti-Trump is going to hurt your business?” I said, “No, people who are dumb enough to be MAGA are too dumb to play quizzo.”) My favorite part of the parade was the chant of “Go Birds! F*** Trump! Go Birds! F*** Trump!”
Ok, so here’s how the quizzo works. It’s 5-rounds, with 8 questions per round. Point values go up each round: Round One is worth 1 apiece, Round Two is worth 2 points apiece, Round 3 is 3 points each, Round worth 4, and Round 5 is worth 5. The questions with the stars by them (#7 in Round One and #8 in Round Five) are worth double. (For #8 in Round 5, you can get 5 points by naming two of them, 10 points if you get all three.) Here’s your scoresheet. Link to the answers is at the bottom. Good luck!
Round One. The Easy Round. Worth 1 point each.
